Hello! I'm

Khanh

Tran

(You can also call me Kay)

I'm a UX/UI designer with a passion for creating meaningful user experiences by merging design, strategy, and business insights.

I have experience working as a UX designer and researcher for both non-profits and businesses, with projects ranging from designing a mobile app for 365Give that encourages global giving, to conducting in-depth user research for ReWorld, and redesigning the website for Natura Solve to enhance customer engagement and conversions.

In addition to my UX design work, I have a strong foundation in graphic design and marketing, which allows me to approach design problems from a holistic perspective. As a Web and Multimedia Designer, I've worked on diverse projects for several companies, successfully integrating design strategies to improve brand visibility and user engagement. Graduating with a degree in Business Administration from the University of California-Irvine, I leverage my marketing experience to ensure that my designs not only meet user needs but also align with business objectives.

This combination of skills enables me to solve complex design challenges by creating visually compelling, functional designs that enhance user experience and achieve business goals.

Testimonials

“Khanh impressed me very much with her hard work and passion for learning new things […]. She showed great resourcefulness in finding answers to her questions before reaching out to me. She is a fast learner and puts a lot of energy into her work. She absorbed the elements of a good web designer through her own research and natural talent for visual design, and combined it with her knowledge of best UX practices. Her final prototype was visually pleasing, looked professional, and solved a lot of challenges the client was facing.”

Jinny Chung

Sr. UX Designer, i-Pro

"From a technical standpoint, Khanh's UX research skills are top-notch, especially for a junior researcher at this stage in their career. […] One of Khanh’s most valuable strengths is her adaptability and eagerness to learn. She not only absorbed new concepts quickly, but aslo applied them with creativity and curiosity. Her ability to work frictionlessly within a team, while also taking on leadership roles when necessary, made her a key contributor to group projects."

Natalie Troxel

Senior User Research Manager, Kajabi

"Very impressed with the fidelity of your designs! […] I've been very happy with where the direction that you took everything and how you pursued your screens and the experience overall. You have a little bit more natural intuition of what the right direction."

Nick Busman

Lead UX Designer, ASME
